About this file

This document appears to be a specification for a fall protection system for the 143d Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS). The government requires a track system that supports at least 2 adults, with specific bay length requirements: a fuel bay of at least 42 feet and a main bay of 25 feet, with a potential full length of 65 feet. The installation environment has bar joists approximately 17 feet from the floor, with conduit pitched from 6" to 16" across the open bay.

Key technical specifications include fall protection requirements for heights over 4 feet, and a request for an all-inclusive quote covering design, equipment, installation, and optional training. The facility images show the internal structure, overhead conduits, and potential mounting locations for the fall protection system. The project seeks a comprehensive solution that can be integrated with existing overhead crane infrastructure and must account for the specific spatial constraints of the facility's interior structure.

Text version

- The Government requires the system to support at least 2 adults.

- It is approximately 17’ from the floor to the bar joists. The equipment would vary in size, but are regulation states we need to use a fall protection for over the height of 4’.

- We are looking for an all-inclusive quote (design, equipment, installation, training if available).

- The conduit is approx. 6” below the joist closest to the wall and is pitched to approx. 16” at the end of the open bay.

-The Government requires a track for two different bays.

-Fuel bay needs to be at least 42ft.

-Main bay needs to be 25ft.

-Full length for the main bay would be 65ft, which the main bay might need a break in between for the overhead cranes.
