About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details urgent air conditioner repair for multiple HVAC units at Building 15312 in Duke Field, 96th Test Wing facility. The scope encompasses repairs for five non-functioning air conditioning units, with specific repair requirements for each unit including replacing evaporator coils (Units A, F, and H), replacing the compressor (Unit G), and replacing the condensing fan motor (Unit J). All units are Bard brand, wall-mounted exterior units with 3-ton capacity, and each requires unique interventions such as refrigerant recharging, system evacuation, component replacements, and motor/capacitor changes. The technical requirements mandate pulling units A, F, H, and G into a vacuum and recharging them according to manufacturer specifications, with detailed steps for each unit's specific repair needs.
