About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity HU000126QE041 issued by the Uniformed Services University.

The procurement is for a brand new bottle filling station with acidifier capability. The system must fill domestic water with 2n Hydrochloric acid at a rate of 24 bottles per minute into two bottle sizes: rat bottles of 300 mls and mouse bottles of 250 mls. No capping or labeling capabilities are required. Delivery must be made to the Uniformed Services University, Logistics Division, 4301 Jones Bridge Road, Bethesda, MD 20814-4712. A significant amendment to the RFQ removed installation services from the scope of work; consequently, questions regarding site visits, existing station removal, plumbing requirements, installation area dimensions, electrical power sources, and site diagrams were all answered with clarification that installation services are no longer being requested and the RFQ has been amended to reflect this change. The procurement focuses solely on the delivery of the bottle filling station equipment itself rather than installation or site preparation activities.
