Q1- Can you please provide the inventory in Excel format?

A1- Attached.

Q2- Please confirm that computers, printers and telephones will be relocated by the Government. PCs, and telephones will be moved by the government.

A2- Desktop printers will be moved by the vendor. Large standing printers will be moved by the government. A few CPUs associated with equipment will be packed and moved by the vendor

Q3- Please confirm that TVs are to be removed from walls and remounted at destination.

A3-Yes, TVs are to me removed by the vendor and remounted at destination.

Q4- The relocation services need to be completed within a maximum of 14 working days by January 4, 2018. Please confirm that we can start on Wednesday, 12/13.

A4- The government will coordinate with the winning bidder to schedule a moving date. Earlier times than 12/13 might be acceptable to begin the relocation process. Proper coordination needs to occur first to include meeting security requirements.

Q5- Will the DRMO be removed prior to us starting the project? If not, will we be competing for dock space with the DRMO vendor?

A5- Not all DRMO items will be removed necessarily before starting the project; however when possible we will segregate DRMO items in other spaces. The DRMO items will not impede hallway and loading dock ingress and egress.

Q6- Will you have sufficient escort staff to allow us to work in multiple areas at one time?

A6- This depends on how many different groups the vendor creates. Depending on the timing we will likely have 5-6 different people available to escort each group (no larger than group than 5 with this construct).

Q7- Are there any priority areas to be moved before others? If so, please identify.

A7- No, although I would find it helpful for tracking purposes to move equipment relocated inside of AFRRI first, then USUHS equipment, and lastly storage equipment as different truck requirements will be likely.

A8- Section 1 states “The Contractor shall only be responsible for the moving of any Government property that require specialized disassembly, reassembly and/or calibration or setup according to the manufacturer’s specifications”. This statement is understood to be inaccurate with the correct statement being the “manufacturer or a provider chosen by the Government” shall service any item requiring disassembly, reassembly or calibration, the Contractor will be expected to relocate items and correctly place equipment.

A8- Understood; special requirements equipment will be moved by the vendor as well but disassembled, reassembled, and calibrated by the OEM.

Q9- Is the Government accepting of having more than one function or move performed at a time?

A9- Yes, however when items are loaded onto the truck for transportation, they must filter through the Contracting Officer Representative to account for items on the master loading list which should correspond to the bill of lading. Accurate accountability (numbers of individual pieces if stored in bulk) must be achieved. It would be preferred to move like location items together to avoid mixups in destination/disposition.

Q10-The items being relocated in the same building (in different rooms), at the end of the contract will those also be relocated to their original locations?

A10- Some of them will be, like all functional equipment. Most office furniture (desks and tables primarily) however, will stay put. Everything going to the bio-instrumentation center (BIC) will stay.
