(1) The non-public segment, into which Government officials and the Contractor post information, which can only be viewed by--
(i) Government personnel and authorized users performing business on behalf of the Government; or
(ii) The Contractor, when viewing data on itself; and
(2) The publicly-available segment, to which all data in the non-public segment of FAPIIS is automatically transferred after a waiting period of 14 calendar days, except for--

(1) Require the Contractor to take necessary action to ensure that future performance conforms to contract requirements; and
(2) Reduce the contract price to reflect the reduced value of the services performed.
If the Contractor fails to promptly perform acceptable services or to take the necessary action to ensure future performance is in conformity with contract requirements, the Government may by contract or otherwise, perform the services and charge to the Contractor any cost incurred by the Government that is directly related to the performance of such service.

This includes options under FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, which applies to this solicitation. The government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the government to exercise the option(s).

15.404-1(b)(2).
