I see in the prior Q&A the size of each louver, can you provide a little more information on the space between each louver? 12 in between louver
26 Can you attach a copy of the spec sheet?
Cannot release due to proprietary reasons; however this is more information
- Material is galvanized steel
- width/length of louvers is 14ft
- 16"deep, 4 inch thick elliptical
- 12 inch between louver
The anodize aluminum cladding/louvers appear to exhibit wearing/oxidation at the seams. Is the CO expectation that all visible points with potential corrosion to be hand scrubbed? Note: any anodized corrosion will leave pitting that would reflect as dirt from a distance.
The material at B4554 is galvanized steel; items do not need corrosion removed or hand scrubbed just cleaned
In the walk thru, entry tops exhibited rust stains. Is the CO expectation to have these stains completely removed? We ask as chemicals like CLR rust remover are caustic where the SOW calls out no use of chemicals, only soap. Note: the rust stains are likely embedded in the paint/anodization and may need more than soap to partially clean up.
The material at B4554 is galvanized steel; items do not need corrosion removed or hand scrubbed just cleaned
Is there flexibility in the discussed 30 day time line? A 45 day allowance would allow for a more cost effective man-hour footprint. In other words, the time line drives the number of headcount needed. Yes, please include how many days you may need in your quote.
For 24hr Emergency entry, is there a potential approach for how to facilitate the work while operations are undisturbed? We can make recommendations. Yes- we have to schedule. Will discuss during pre-meeting after award.
31 From walk thru, do we have all bldg. footprint for tie-down anchors? Tie-down available only at B4554.
For lifts where possible, are there any specific restrictions do to size of equipment and people traffic in work area (i.e. who will be responsible for zoning work area). No - only issue is safety and patient/pedestrian care
Is there a more detailed description of the CO final inspection review for quality sign off of payment?
Government Technical representative along with contractor representative will do final inspection.
