Labor Categories and Descriptions
Program Manager
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Systems Engineer
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Engineering Support
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Application Programmer
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Must be capable of using IT equipment and languages to develop and prepare diagrammatic plans for solution of business, management, communications, tactical, and strategic problems. Translates detailed design into computer software. Tests computer software to produce the required product. Prepares program-level and user-level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.

Manufacturing Engineer
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Plans and designs manufacturing processes in industrial plant. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Manufacturing Engineer III BA/BS and 5 years experience or equivalent
Manufacturing Technician
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Operates production equipment; responsible for manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products. Follows blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
Manufacturing Technician II BA/BS and 3 years experience or equivalent
System Test Engineer
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.
Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Test Engineer IV BA/BS and 5 years experience or equivalent
Quality Assurance Engineer
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Develops project quality standards, processes and metrics.
Develops quality assurance plan and implements procedures that conform to the requirements of the contract. Responsible for verifying that each functional component of the project follows a defined process which is in conformance with contractual requirements. Reports findings to project staff, line management of the organization, and the customer, as appropriate. Provides an independent assessment of how the project is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's performance.
Quality Assurance Engineer I BA/BS and 5 years experience or equivalent
Quality Assurance Analyst
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Quality assurance, quality control, and configuration management, verification and validation, system testing and integration, metrics and their application to systems quality assessment. Monitors the level of quality throughout the software life cycle. Provides supervision and direction to support staff, as required.
Determines the resources required for quality control. Responsible for most technical and complex quality control testing. Analyzes and designs business applications on complex systems for large scale computers, data base management, use of the programming languages. Manages the development of new methods and procedures. Knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and demonstrated ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs.
Responsible for the evaluation of software and associated documentation.

Training Specialist
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Experience in developing and providing technical and end-user training on computer hardware and application software. Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing. Working knowledge of subject area requirements as defined in a government task request Functional Responsibility. Conducts training classes. Prepares training documentation. Experience in developing course materials, such as course manuals, training aids, student texts and handouts. Provide classroom and on-the-job instruction and computer based/aided training.

Maintenance & Support Technician
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Performs general maintenance tasks, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization.
Maintains an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems, and component parts used in repair work. Prepares progress reports for all work performed. Receives work direction from supervisor on work priori-ties and daily assignments.
Computer Technician III AA/AS and 5 years experience or equivalent
IT Test Engineer
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Monitors and responds to technical control facility hardware and software problems utilizing hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Applies knowledge to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures. Designs test scenarios, exercises and simulations and supports testing of new and enhanced products. Functional areas include classified intelligence, access control, biometrics, intrusion detection, and command and control-related net-works, and smart card technologies. Analyzes information assurance requirements, supports the design, development and integration of system, hardware, or software-based solutions. Applications include cryptographic solutions that provide and/or enhance the security of individual platforms, systems or networks. Supports the development and enhancement of user interfaces to existing information assurance systems.
Information Assurance Consultant III BA/BS and 5 years experience or equivalent
Deployment Technician
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinates hardware installation and experienced in network and database security systems. Experience in conducting site surveys in preparation for installation. Requires strong knowledge of PC LAN hardware and software, in a multi-protocol environment, and network management software. Provides knowledge and experience in one or more disciplines or procedures including hardware installation, repair, calibrating and modifying electronic equipment, unpacking, inspection, test and configuration. Troubleshooting functions.
Installation Support Specialist I AA/AS and 3 years experience or equivalent
Customer Service Tech Support
Position Duties/Responsibilities: Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
