RFQ No. HSTS01-10-Q-RES157 Amendment No. P00001
The purpose of this amendment is to:
(1) Revise Section C6.1.1 “Checkpoint Passenger Screening Area (Concourses)”; and
(2) Incorporate the Questions and Answers.
This solicitation is hereby amended accordingly:
1. Section C6.1.1 “Checkpoint Passenger Screening Area (Concourses)” shall be revised as follows:
a. Delete in its entirety:
TSA identifies the start of the checkpoint as the front of the x-ray machine nearest the beginning of the checkpoint screening lane. Generally, there is one 6’ long table in front of the machine. For janitorial contract purposes we are establishing the start of the checkpoint at the beginning of the 6’ long table. If enough space is available without entering into the airports queuing area, TSA may wish to place additional tables in front of the x-ray machine. In this case the checkpoint would begin at the beginning of the table furthest from the x-ray machine.
Queuing areas and exit lanes are not included as necessary screening areas.
b. Insert:
2. TSA identifies the start of the checkpoint as the front of the x-ray machine nearest the beginning of the checkpoint screening lane. For purposes of this janitorial contract only we are establishing the start of the checkpoint beginning directly behind the Ticket Document Checker
(TDC) podium.
3. The questions and answers are hereby incorporated.
4. Unless specifically noted above, all other terms, conditions, information and instructions for this solicitation remain unchanged, including the solicitation due date of 4pm local time (Washington, DC) on Monday, April 26, 2010.
