Vendor questions to HSFE04-13-R-0004

1. Is there a statement of work?

The contractor shall provide unskilled temporary day labors in support of Region IV preparedness efforts for disaster and regional response. Duties include, but not limited to the following: setting up and tearing down of partitions; unloading trucks containing office supplies and office equipment such as desks, chairs, tables, ; lifting materials; cleaning and sweeping. Work involves climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching over head.

2. Who is the incumbent that is already performing this service?

Labor Ready Incorporated

3. What was the amount of the last contract award?

It was a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a ceiling not to exceed $150,000.00. The initial award against the BPA was $0.00 funds appropriated. However, upon issues of a call order funds were committed and obligated.

4. Is set a labor rates requested?

Yes, labor rates are requested by each state identified in the solicitation. Please check the wage rates at www.dol.gov. Please note that your labor or bill rate must not be lower than the federal wage rate for each state. (Ensure your offer includes any state/federal taxes, holiday and overtime charges)

5. What are the hours per week?

The number of hours is unknown at this time. This is an Indefinite Delivery Quantity Contract (IDIQ). Therefore, the hours are uncertain. However, please provide your hourly bill labor rate for each state. The hours will be determined after award and the issuance of a task order against the IDIQ.

6. Does this job require security clearance of the background check?

Yes, background and security clearance are required up to HSPD-12

7. Allocate acquisition as a set-aside for small disadvantage?

No

8. Any equipment needed to be provided by the contractor?

No

9. What is the labor category?

Unskilled laborer
