About this file
This is a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Transforming Pediatrics for Early Childhood (TPEC) Program, issued by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Division of Home Visiting and Early Childhood Systems. The program increases statewide access to high-quality early childhood development services for young children and families through team-based care delivered in pediatric primary care settings. The TPEC Program prioritizes services for children and families eligible for Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), or uninsured populations. Recipients will place early childhood development experts in pediatric practices, build skills of pediatric primary care staff statewide, and expand sustainable early childhood services to improve the standard of care for all young children.
The NOFO (HRSA-26-104) was released June 8, 2026, with an application deadline of July 10, 2026, and a project start date of September 30, 2026. Up to 10 awards are available, each with an award ceiling of $950,000 per year for a 5-year project period. Eligibility is limited to any domestic public or private entity, with a restriction of one award per state or jurisdiction, except for Tribal applicants. The program will fund initiatives to boost family strengths, detect developmental concerns early, prevent chronic disease, and support child flourishing. Inquiries should be directed to HomeVisiting@hrsa.gov or the Maternal and Child Health Bureau.
