About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding a solicitation for broadcast operations support services. The solicitation seeks proposals for work to be performed at government facilities in Riverside, California and Fort Meade, Maryland, requiring the contractor workforce to be physically present at both locations. While telework is currently permitted due to COVID-19, some contractors must be on-site. The operations in Riverside are 24/7 and those in Fort Meade generally take place from 6am to 6pm with some weekend and holiday work. Proposals must be submitted by email to the specified contracting officer by January 25, 2021. This is considered a new requirement replacing an expiring contract, though incumbent information can be requested through the Freedom of Information Act process.

BOSS QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Whether companies from Outside USA can apply for this?

(like, from India or Canada) Answer: Yes

2. Whether we need to come over there for meetings?

Answer: Yes. You need to be here for meetings, and work. The contract requires the work force to serve in two locations: Riverside, California, and Ft. Meade, Maryland. We are currently planning a site visit for eligible companies who can meet the requirements of the contract on February 9, 2021. We will practice COVID-19 pre-cautions for all visitors (temperature check, masks, social distancing).

3. Can we perform the tasks (related to RFP) outside USA?

(like, from India or Canada) Answer: No. The contract requires the work force to physically serve at two locations: Riverside, California, and Ft. Meade, Maryland. Teleworking is currently allowed during the COVID-19 pandemic, but even now there is a requirement for some of the contractors to be physically in our government facilities in Riverside and Ft. Meade. Operations at our Riverside facility are 24/7. Operations at our Ft. Meade facility are generally conducted between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with some situational weekend and holiday work.

4. Can we submit the proposals via email?

Answer: This is addressed on the original solicitation notice

5. Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number?

Answer: This requirement is considered new of a contract that will be ending soon. However in order to receive copies of the incumbent contract or task orders you will need to look up the following link to gain copies of such documents as a FOIA request:
