Q&A Exercise Program Management Services

Dated: 25 February 2015

1. Is the ‘Technical POC’ filled/sourced by the Government or another Contractor? Is the position currently filled and, if so, can you please identify who the individual is?

The Government will not name the technical point of contact since it does not change any of the requirements of the solicitation.

2. Is the Government satisfied with the existing library of products? What is the anticipated level of re-work of these products that is necessary (overall in %)?

Yes, the Government is satisfied with the existing library of products. The required re-working of these products depends on the needs of course directors. It might be 100% or it might be 0% depending on the extent that the course curriculum changes.

3. In attempting to identify the actual workload requirements and the corresponding immediacy, how many of the existing library of products will need to be revised in the first year and then in the following option years? Please estimate the % that just need updating/refreshing/minor revisions; % needing major revisions and % needing to be completely re-vamped.

Cannot provide an estimate for this without canvassing the views of each course and outreach director. There are not set revision requirements, nor any set revision plan.

4. Can the Government’s Technical POC please share CISS’ current top priorities?

Counter-terrorism, countering transnational organized crime, cyber-security and security sector capacity building and reform.

5. What is the anticipated amount of travel required (either in days or %)?

Varies on outreach demand, historically no more than 10 days per year.

6. How many days per contract year are estimated to be required to be on site in/around Garmisch?

See PWS section 5.3. The Government anticipates the contractor’s work schedule to be 0800 – 1700 Monday through Friday, except recognized holidays. The contractor’s work schedule may be adjusted to accommodate event schedules and associated workload demands; however, total hours worked may not exceed the scope of the contract.
