About this file
This is a procedural instruction document from eVA.virginia.gov that provides guidance for responding to Quick Quote solicitations on the Virginia Business Opportunities platform. The document outlines the step-by-step process for submitting a bid in response to a state contract opportunity for grounds maintenance services at four boat landings at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. The instructions direct vendors to review all solicitation information and attachments, access the response portal, and enter unit pricing for each line item before validation and submission. The document emphasizes that proposals should be submitted before the deadline and notes that Quick Quotes are awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
The guidance stresses that bidders must carefully review all terms and conditions set by the buyer and should contact the issuing agency directly with any questions regarding the solicitation. Vendors are advised to submit their best pricing to be competitive and can save draft proposals in progress for later completion by logging back into their eVA account. No pricing information, set-asides, award dates, contract term, or other commercial terms are specified in this instructional document, as it serves solely as a how-to guide for the submission process rather than the actual solicitation details.
