About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for the City of Santa Fe Youth and Family Services Division and the Children and Youth Commission (CYC), outlining permissive services for a three-year grant cycle. The RFP seeks proposals from nonprofit organizations to support programs promoting healthy development of children and youth ages birth to twenty-one, with three identified funding priorities: Education and Career Readiness, Youth Physical and Mental Health and Well-Being, and Support Services for Youth at Higher Risk. Eligible offerors must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations or programs covered by qualifying fiscal agents, maintain professional liability insurance, and register as vendors with the City of Santa Fe prior to proposal submission. Organizations must also comply with state workers' compensation laws.
Funding for the grant program derives from a percentage of the City's share of state gross receipts tax (GRT) and is subject to annual fluctuations in GRT revenue. Maximum funding awards are capped at $100,000 per year or $300,000 for the three-year cycle. All offerors must demonstrate commitment to the healthy development of children and youth and agree to adhere to applicable state laws and reporting requirements established by the commission. The grant cycle structure allows organizations to receive sustained funding over three years, provided they maintain compliance with all contractual obligations and funding criteria established by the City and CYC.
