Examples include telework to accommodate scheduling issues such as appointments or special work assignments away from the office. Situational telework is also referred to as episodic, intermittent, or ad-hoc telework. If necessary, a portal device will be made available to accommodate duties and responsibilities conducted during the teleworking period. A Presidential Information Technology Community (PITC) consent form must be signed prior to the use of these devices. The PITC consent form outlines all acceptable use and responsibilities that one must abide by while using any government devices.
