4 Solicitation

AMD 01

Amendment 01 confirms in responses to previous Q&A Q23 and Q24 that Fire

Suppression/Alarm systems are clearly included in this RFP requirement.

Currently, Fire Suppression/Alarm systems are maintained by various government entities based on geographic location. Can you confirm that these government entities will no longer be included/involved in Fire

Suppression/Alarm system maintenance and repair requirements?

DoDEA Facilities is currently in the process of disconnecting such services from other government entities, the disconnect will be finalized once a total maintenance contract is established.

5 Solicitation

AMD 01

Amendment 01 confirms in response to previous Q&A Q26 that LPG systems are clearly included in this RFP requirement. Currently, LPG systems are maintained by another entity. Can you confirm that this current LPG systems entity will no longer be included/involved in LPG system maintenance and repair requirements?

LPG systems were maintained by another entity, however, that is not the case anymore.

AMD 01

Amendment 01 confirms in responses to previous Q&A Q30 and Q31 that

Sports Field Lighting systems are clearly included in this RFP requirement. Currently, Sports Field

AMD 01

Amendment 01 provides maps in response to previous Q&A Q1

(Attachments 1 -13). In order for the offeror to be assured they are adequately assessing the burden, will the

Government provide maps that highlight the specific areas that are to be inspected and maintained?

The maps provided via solicitation amendment 01 and descriptions indicated on the PWS under section 2.3.1 provide sufficient information for the offeror to determine scope of the routine maintenance of sports fields.

8 Solicitation

AMD 01

Amendment 01 confirms in responses to previous Q&A Q48, Q50 and Q51 that the example items will be addressed via the Non-Routine Work Request CLIN.

Typically, the cost of the example items is less than $2500.00. If the contractual definition of a Non-Routine Work

Request (Under 10K) is “… work that exceeds the negotiated fixed price for recurring/routine services and exceeds

$2500.00 in material costs for repairs”, how does the contractor’s quote coincide with the CLIN?

Ceiling will be set by the government for

CLINs in support of Non-Routine Work

Requests [Under $10K], quotes will be solicited at the time of need. Pricing
