About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide advisory and assistance (A&AS) services in support of the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Program. The purpose of the RFI is to gain information on current industry practices that would meet DTRA's requirements, ascertain the level of interest in this requirement, assess market conditions, and supplement market research. The RFI outlines the required capacity for the contractor-provided facility, which must include a main conference room capable of accommodating 150 personnel, two additional conference rooms for up to 30 personnel each, and one conference room for up to 15 personnel for classified discussions and meetings. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals.

| 1 | RFI, Section 2.2.2, page 2 | For the contractor-provided facility mentioned in Section 2.2.2, can the government clarify what the required capacity for the rooms is? | Per the draft SOO, the A&AS contractor's facility will be expected to enable a minimum of six (6) multiple concurrent local meetings and conferences by providing facilities to include rooms, projection equipment, sound system, and video-teleconference systems. A main conference room should be capable of accommodating 150 personnel. Two (2) additional conference rooms should be capable of accommodating up to 30 personnel individually. Furthermore, this facility shall provide the capability to conduct SECRET classified local meetings and conferences through at least one conference room with space for up to 15 personnel, for classified discussions and meetings, with capability for proper handling and storage of SECRET classified material. Current conference room capacities: 150 people (1 room), 24 people (2 rooms), 15 people (cleared to Secret) (1 room), 14 people (3 rooms), 10 people (1 room), and <10 people (2 rooms). |
| 2 | RFI, Section 2.2.3, page 2 | Can DTRA provide the historic level of travel for the CTR A&AS contract? | DTRA anticipates providing a plug number for travel as part of the RFP. Historically, A&AS travel in support of CTR has been between $2M-$4M annually. |
