Solicitation No.: HC102824R0075

1) Can we get the finished floor height of the access floor from sub floor slab to top of access floor panel?

2) What is the wall type construction of the wall on top of access floor at 216 and 210 that must be supported during replacement? Are there obstacles below the floor at these locations that would prohibit the floor replacement? Can a photo of the sub floor be provided?

3) Can the government provide us with details on the existing access floor understructure (base plate dimensions, means of attachment, glue or glued and anchored). Is it possible to get a photo of the understructure?

4) Sub floor utilities: Can we get a photo of the sub floor to understand the amount and density of utilities (chilled water lines, smoke detection, clean agent piping, cable tray, power cables) in the sub floor?

5) Can we get a dimension of from the top of the servers to the acoustic ceiling? Are there cable trays or electrical buss duct directly above the server cabinets? If so, how much clearance between the top of the server cabinets and the underside of the cable tray/buss duct?

ANSWERS:

1.The floor is 24 inches above the subfloor, as detailed in PWS appendix B paragraph 2.2.1.1
2.Partition wall. Photos not possible. Actual material of construction not certain.
3.Pedestals are glued to the subfloor.
4.Photos are not possible. The underfloor plenum contains PDU whips (not in cable tray), chilled water lines, VESDA piping, SRG, some cable tray, and some networking cables
5.Most clearance is at least 3-4 inches between racks and cable tray. There is only about 1” between the top of the garage and the cable tray.
