Questions & Answers, 1

9.19.2016 Question 1: Will there be a revised equipment list released or should offerors submit a revised equipment list with their proposal?

Answer 1: The Government has verified the provided list and found there are no other pieces of equipment that are not on the list. Everything on the list appears correct. If there is a specific piece of equipment that is missing it can be pointed out within your proposal.

Question 2: Can you please confirm that as part of the price proposal, offerors are to submit a firm fixed price monthly rate for preventative maintenance that consists of both labor and parts/materials costs?

Answer 2: Per the PWS, offerors are to provide PM that includes material costs up to

$200.00. The offeror can propose payment terms according to their proposed maintenance schedule (i.e., if quarterly payments would be more in line with the proposed schedule). Any additional parts over the $200.00 will be procured through CLIN 0004 (Replacement parts).

For evaluation purposes, the contractor shall submit pricing based on a monthly PM rate.

Question 3: Is the Open Air Screen Cooler in the Scenario for Kitchen Equipment Unscheduled Repairs, referring to one of the open merchandisers in the government-provided equipment list (Attachment A)?

Answer 3: Yes

Question 4: Would the Government Consider removing the CLIN 0002-4002 & CLIN 0004-4004 and use CLIN 0003-4003 for all Repairs as needed T&M.

Answer 4: No. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in support of this effort. The only portion of the contract that will be authorized as time & materials will be the emergency service line items.
