About this file

This statement of work document outlines requirements for the replacement of a hangar door at a U.S. Marshals Service facility in Conroe, Texas. The scope of work includes removing the existing doors, installing a new electrically operated vertical opening, horizontally folding bifold style hangar door approximately 80'4" wide by 19'11" high to maintain full opening dimensions. The new door must comply with all safety standards and codes, incorporate current safety systems and redundancies to prevent injuries from inadvertent closure or failure. It must allow full operation during power failures and be fully insulated and sealed against weather. The preferred system uses high strength straps or synthetic material over steel cables. Control switches are to be mounted near existing hangar light switches. The contractor will deliver all required materials, provide documentation and training for safe door operation, and warrant all door and lifting system components for ten years. Performance will take place at the USMS facility located at the specified airport. A 24-hour notice is required to access the location.
