About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for hangar door repair services at the 125th Fighter Wing located at Jacksonville International Airport in Duval County, Florida. The project involves repair of a Megadoor Inc. fabric hangar door system, specifically the replacement of one inoperable mullion hoist that has experienced clutch slippage. The work will be performed at Building 1001 (14300 Fang Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32218) during standard business hours of 0700-1600, Monday through Friday, excluding recognized US holidays and government facility closures. The period of performance is three days, and a certified technician must execute the mullion hoist replacement and associated clutch mechanism work to restore full operation to the hangar door.
The contractor is responsible for furnishing all property, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work, with the exception of utilities which the government will provide. The government will not furnish workspace, office equipment, or support services. Performance will be evaluated against an Acceptable Quality Level standard with no major non-conformances permitted, as determined through periodic inspection by the Civil Engineering Representative. The related state and local contract opportunity indicates this work involves Assa Abloy warranty maintenance and service of the proprietary Megadoor hangar door system, suggesting the contractor must possess specialized knowledge and certification for this specific equipment manufacturer.
