If CLIN 0002 is activated, will the contractor be required to make the payments in addition to holding the contract with Amalie Arena? If so, there will need to be a fast-tracked invoice and payment processed to fund this requirement and get payments to the contractor and then to the venue before the actual ceremony dates, unless DoD has made arrangements for payment to happen after the event.
The Government has secured Amalie Arena and this is no longer a requirement.
Are there any sponsors locked in that will be integrated into the Opening and/or Closing Ceremonies Integrated into the either ceremony via speakers, mentions in script/award/gifting, or as part of the videos or content played throughout?
Do we need to allocate any VIP seating/section off seats for sponsors?
Will there be any sponsorship activations in the concourse of the arena?
FH CEO/President will have a speaking opportunity during Opening Ceremonies There will be a need for VIP and Distinguished Visitor seating. There will also be seats allocated for local supporters – to be coordinated with Gov team.
There may be some supporter activations on-site, including Under Armour sales kiosk and local businesses that are relevant to the audience – these are tentatively planned to be outside on Thunder Alley, but may move inside to the concourse, if weather demands.
Do we need to account for meals/beverages for the athletes, DVs, and/or staff? If yes, please provide quantities/guidelines for both Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
No, the Government will provide food
Can you provide more clarity on what “Coordinate” with Emcee and Sam Moore means – if this is inclusive of their travel to/from event, and any on-site greenroom rider requirements? If so, any specific on requirements to account for is appreciated.
Coordinate would mean to provide requirements for the performance while they are on the stage, or immediately before and after the performance. The production company will not be required to coordinate travel to/from event. There should be minimal greenroom/"rider" requirements, and Government should be able to accommodate most requests. Expectation will be to support both the emcee and the opening act (Sam Moore) with ROS scripting, sound/mic arrangements, rehearsal time and sound checks. Sam Moore will sing (minimum 2 songs, maximum 4 songs) to track and may have an accompanying video to be played on jumbotron. Jon Stewart will be introduced via produced video - leading to a live feed from inside the stadium. He does not have other backup music or video requirements.
2.1 references need to develop concepts and ideas – is there an exciting creative concept or theme for the Games this year?
“BE INSPIRED” is the overarching marketing tagline.
ITO 4.1.6.a.i states proposals must include pricing for CLIN 0002 OPTION Firm Fixed Price Venue Agreement, however CLIN0002 is not referenced on solicitation or in PWS. Please confirm if we need to include pricing for CLIN002 and/or if contractor will be responsible for entering into agreement with the venue and paying for venue rental and operational costs?
The Government has secured Amalie Arena and this is no longer a requirement.
PWS 2.2 references Attachment A as Amalie Arena Venue Agreement, however Attachment A included on FBO is not the venue agreement but a proposed Seating Plan. Please clarify.
Once the agreement has been finalized, the Amalie Arena Agreement, and the floor plan will be included in Attachment A
How does ticketing work? Will tickets be made available to the public for purchase? If yes who will manage this process.
Amalie Arena will handle all ticketing arrangements and logistics
The CRM template is referenced at Section J, Att. 4, may the offeror provide a contractor format in the interest of time or will a new format be published on FBO.gov?
The offeror may use their own format providing it meets the requirements
