AMENDMENT 2 - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

1. Portable Toilet Type: Does the government require standard event units, or are flushable units preferred for this contract?

A: At a minimum the portable toilets shall have a door and contain a urinal, toilet, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper with dispenser. Flushable units are not required.

2. Sanitation Requirements: For hand hygiene, should we provide hand sanitizing stations within the portable toilets, or are external handwashing stations required in addition to the units?

A: Hand sanitizer shall be within the portable toilets. Separate handwashing stations are not required.

3. The contract is for 200 units/portable toilets, correct?

A: Correct, delivered in accordance with the SOW.

4. Can this be a combo unit with 200 portable toilets (in total) and sinks, or just 200 singular stalls?

A: Sinks are not required.

5. Are handwashing stations needed?

A: Handwashing stations are not required.

6. I may have missed it, but what is the cleaning/maintenance schedule and requirements?

A: Refer to the SOW.

7. May I receive or obtain access to the Statement of Work?

A: Access to the SOW must be requested through SAM.gov, refer to the SAM.gov help desk for additional guidance.

8. If there is a prior award or current contract, may I be provided with a copy of the proposal?

A: This is a new requirement, there is no incumbent.

9. I will be subcontracting, so using the subcontractor's Past Performance is acceptable, correct?

A: Correct

13. Additionally, I noticed that the solicitation did not specify maintenance requirements for cleaning the portable toilets. Could you clarify whether there will be a need for multiple cleanings per week?

14. Do we deploy all 200 portable toilets at the start of the contract or in stages per their needs?

A: Refer to the SOW.

15. How many people are expected to use the portable toilets for the said period?

A: Refer to the SOW.

16. What are the specifications needed for the portable toilets to be rented?

A: At a minimum the portable toilets shall have a door and contain a urinal, toilet, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper with dispenser.

17. For the price quotation, are we quoting for a yearly basis or the whole 5 years and 6 months contract?

A: Offerors shall provide a price for each CLIN in the solicitation.

18. Is there an incumbent and if so could you provide their information? That would be the simplest seamless way to move forward if you are happy with their service.

A: This is a new requirement, there is no incumbent.

19. The solicitation is for 200 toilets a year. Are they all co-located? If not, can you provide a map for drop off and cleaning locations?

A: Refer to the SOW.

20. How often do you want the toilets serviced?

A: Refer to the SOW.

21. Knowing what I know about portable toilets and my time in the Marine Corps., will the government cover damaged toilets?

A: Clauses 52.233-1 & 52.233-4 have been added to the solicitation.

22. Is there a need for hand washing stations? If there is, how many?

A: Handwashing stations are not required.
