RE: SOF Marine Raider Regiment HQ
Dear Robert, It is with great interest and enthusiasm that our team submits our qualifications for the SOF Marine Raider Regiment HQ project. This project provides a great opportunity to focus on an integrated, flexible, modular wall solution that helps foster the project intent.
Improve Group and Falk Built Albuquerque, based in New Mexico, have many established clients within the Department of Defense. Our practice is focused on establishing long-term relationships with large, institutional clients and currently hold OTA, SIBR and other Federal contracts, which enable significant ability to create cost efficiency in projects like this. We work very hard to ensure that the client’s interests are well represented in a project; this means addressing the aspirations and design goals of a client as well as the pragmatic concerns that come with long term building ownership. We have extensive understanding of the unique requirements of the Special Operations Community.
Our objective is to develop highly functional, affordable and creative solutions working closely with owners and users. We work hard to integrate building systems with the users’ needs, sustainable values and performance goals. Our qualifications include:
• Air Force Special Warfare Training Wing (JBSA): Multiple projects across the training campus
• 351st Special Warfare Training Squadron - Pararescue Apprentice Course (KAFB): Live-fire range, offices, human performance facility
• Fort Bliss Desert Defenders: Vehicle Maintenance modular modernization & infrastructure modernization
• JBSA Lackland Base Defense Operations Center: Tactics training area modular infrastructure & tech integration
• JBSA Randolph 12 FTW T38: Maintenance Modular Breakroom
• MacDill AFB SOCCENT: Entry way and building infrastructure modernization
• Ft Bragg JSOC: Offices and building infrastructure modernization
• 10th Special Forces Group (Ft. Carson): Multiple modernization projects
Technology, wayfinding, maintenance, energy efficiency and a strong connection to sustainability are all important factors in the design that we believe would also be of importance for this project. Working on the Marine Raider Regiment HQ fits in well with our current workload and project schedules, and we are confident in our ability to meet your objectives and goals.
Sincerely, Kristen Shaw, Director of Design Improve Group | Falk Built Albuquerque
