MRSG Card Advertisement Delivery at Recruit Training RFP Questions - Answers 8 February 2023

RFP Document
Para.
Questions/Comments

RFP/Price worksheet/SOW

Q: Specifically, the H9225723R0006 and Atch 2 requests pricing for the printing and delivery of the insert card advertisements for the base year and subsequent option years but does not appear to denote the exact number of cards.

Additionally, H9225723R0006 defines the Delivery address as MRSG RR400 SNEADS FERRY NC 28542 whereas the SOW references delivery of “approx. 36,000 annually” to MCRD Parris Island, MCRD San Diego and Officer Candidate School (OCS).

Finally, H9225723R0006 and Atch 2 have no mention nor line item to include pricing for the “300,000 run-of-site web banner impressions to support brand awareness” the “12-part article series”, nor the “300,000 run-of-site web banner impressions to support the 12-part article series”? I guess I’m very confused because the files don’t seem to match up… the SOW seems to focus on the banner ads and the 12-part article, whereas H9225723R0006 and the Atch 2 spreadsheet only reference and request the rate for the advertising cards, neither of which though specify the exact number of insert cards.

Would you be able to clarify for me please.

A1: Per pg 1 para 5.1 of the SOW it states: “The contractor shall print and deliver insert card advertisements (Specifications: 7.25'' x 5.25'’, full color, duplex. Cards can be perforated if required) to all Marine Corps Recruits during Marine Corps Boot Camp at MCRD Parris Island, MCRD San Diego and OCS Quantico, VA (approx. 36,000 annually) for a one (1) year commitment.”

A2: Thank you for pointing that out; that was an error and has been corrected in “H9225723R0006 Amend 1. The correct ship address is located in the SOW para 5.1 “The contractor shall print and deliver insert card advertisements (Specifications: 7.25'' x 5.25'’, full color, duplex. Cards can be perforated if required) to all Marine Corps Recruits during Marine Corps Boot Camp at MCRD Parris Island, MCRD San Diego and OCS Quantico, VA (approx. 36,000 annually) for a one (1) year commitment.”
