About this file

This Request for Information (RFI) document contains four clarifying questions and responses regarding a storage cage solicitation for the United States Special Operations Command. The procurement is for one high-bay storage cage to be installed at JEB Little Creek-Fort Story, with a 100% Small Business Set-Aside designation. Key technical details include specific installation requirements such as hard-anchoring the cage framework to the east concrete wall, using U-bolts at the mezzanine flooring, and matching the existing cages' gray finish.

The RFI addresses technical specifications including finish options (powder coat or liquid paint), color matching for the cage, and installation timeline. Responses indicate flexibility in finish application, with the awardee responsible for matching existing cage colors, and confirm a 60-day delivery/installation period after award, which may extend beyond the initially proposed 30 September 2025 deadline. The solicitation number is H9224025Q2043, and a site visit was scheduled for 4 September 2025 from 0900-1030 Eastern time.
