Oxygen Booster Transfer Pump – Technical Specification
• Capable of boosting/transferring aviators breathing oxygen from lower pressure cylinders to higher pressure cylinders
• Particle Filters, inlet and outlet 5 micron filter
• A by-pass valve to equalize the fill oxygen cylinder with the oxygen supply cylinder before turning on the booster pump to reduce heat due to compression
• Electrically-driven pump; fully operational with U.S. 110 standard “wall outlet” as primary power source.
“European” 220 power source as an optional power source; power source allows units to utilize field type equipment such as 5K generator to operate
• Booster/Transfer Pump will most often be used as a stationary unit, but can be transported if needed
• Have handles or other suitable means of grasping, handling, maneuvering and carrying.
• Indicators and high- and low- pressure gauges to verify functionality and monitor for safety
• Connectors/Fittings/Valves that are self-sealing quick connect/disconnect assemblies
• Pressure bleed-off valves; Safety Relief Valves for high pressure and low pressure outlets
• Each outlet port has Individual shut off value, individual pressure relief value
• Manifold constructed of brass
• 4 to 6 port outlets for simultaneous filling of Parachutist Oxygen Bottles
• Parachutist Oxygen Bottles maintain as close as possible ambient temperature when filling
• All connectors have individual protective covering when not in use
• Automatic stop/shut off filling limit control; user adjustable at intervals up to 4,500 PSI
• No oil or other petroleum items present on or to operate oxygen transfer/booster pump
• Self-sufficient – does not need additional source of gaseous mix (Compressed Air) to run the transfer/booster pump
• Low user maintenance requirements and no more than one annual OEM maintenance requirements
