Oxygen Booster Pumps
H92239-17-T-OXYG
Questions and Answers:
1. The specs mentions manifold constructed of brass...could it be made of stainless steel instead. All materials in contact with the oxygen gas in our electric driven gas boosters system are constructed of stainless steel material.
Government Response: The Government will accept brass or stainless steel in the manifold. However, the Government will review all aspects of the quote to include the pricing differential between the brass and SS components.
2. We realized that the technical requirements does not call out for MIL-STD-1330D cleaning. Also, since the main high limit switch will be set at 4500-psi and the main relief valve set at 4700-psi, we feel that it is redundant to add individual relief valve at each port set at the same setting...suggest adding individual bleed valves instead.
Government Response: The booster pump will meet MIL-STD-1330D upon receipt. Valve shut off - As long as the booster pump provides for the capability to close off one or more refill valves giving the option of filling one bottle and a 6-man pre-breathing console or any combination up to four to six valves.
