1) A delivery date of 7/15/10 is referenced in the delivery portion of the solicitation. May the offeror quote a delivery based on units produced by week? This delivery schedule would then begin after receipt of the garments at our facility. However, depending on when the garments are received and the production capacity quoted, the final delivery may fall outside of the requested 7/15/10 date. Separate deliveries would be released as soon as any one grouping is complete.
RESPONSE: Bottom line: One group at a time, by priority(no splitting shipment; one order to each location, one shipment to each location). As for having the entire order completed by 15 JULY 10, we understand that they may not be able to do entire order by then. We will be willing to accept any remaining orders beyond 15 JULY 10. Two wk window is acceptable. We need to plan for 10 days from time of award to vendor receiving garments. It could possibly be quicker, but plan for worse case.
2) Would Special Operations consider leaving the two bottom pockets on the garment and cutting fabric for new pockets on the right and left sleeve?
RESPONSE: We want pockets moved. No pockets needed on the bottom of garment.
