About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers document related to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) for a Master Planning effort. The GVRA will be represented by a Leadership Group of facilities professionals and campus leadership, while the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) will hold the contract and manage the process. The Master Plan is expected to include background analysis of existing campus buildings and infrastructure, and be used for various purposes such as fundraising, planning capital expenditures, exploring public-private partnerships, and supporting planning and growth programs. The scope includes both the Master Plan and an Implementation Strategy, and will involve general programming, cost estimating, and utilization assessments of the Long-Term Acute Care and Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals. Existing facilities condition assessments are available for only 13 buildings, and the current scope will include generating base plans for the Master Planning effort.
The cost estimating for construction costs will be provided as part of the Master Planning services, but GVRA will not contract with a separate cost estimator. Specific building-by-building detailed programming, scopes of work, and cost estimates are expected to be included in the Master Plan deliverables.
