About this file
This document is a budget preparation guidelines document from the Fulton County Board of Health for the PS24_0047 High Impact HIV Prevention and Surveillance Programs. The guidelines provide comprehensive instructions for preparing a budget request across multiple cost categories, including salaries and wages, fringe benefits, supplies, travel, education and training, social media and marketing, and indirect costs. The document outlines specific allowable expenses, percentage limitations, and detailed requirements for each budget category.
The budget preparation guidelines establish strict financial parameters, with notable restrictions including: travel costs not exceeding 2% of total budget, education and training costs limited to 2% of total budget, social media and marketing expenses capped at 8% of total budget, and indirect costs restricted to 15% of total budget. Allowable costs are specifically defined for each category, such as medical and office supplies, staff and patient travel, personnel training, outreach materials, and marketing expenses. The guidelines emphasize that all expenses must be directly linked to HIV testing, prevention, and surveillance program objectives, with a focus on comprehensive documentation and justification for each budgeted item.
