ADDENDUM 02

CHANGES TO SPECIFICATIONS

Item 1: The following Specification Section 23 09 23 BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is hereby revised as follows. Note that Revised Items will completely supersede the previous issuance:

A. Delete all requirements for LON within the specification – all items to be added to the existing system shall be compatible with the Siemens Apogee BMS system currently installed.

B. Paragraph 1.01: Replace paragraph E with the following: This project is a renovation to a portion of an existing floor within an operational building. New single duct VAV boxes with electric heat, an inline chilled water pump, a 100% outside air unit with VFD, with direct expansion and chilled water cooling, a hot gas reheat coil, and an energy wheel, exhaust fans and a ductless mini-split have been added that need to be added to the existing Siemens Apogee BMS system. Some existing VAV boxes and/or their controls have been relocated. The interface of the 100% Outside Air Unit shall be compatible with the Siemens Apogee BMS system so that all software points made available by the unit manufacturer can be monitored and/or adjusted (as applicable) from the existing BMS system. The controls provided under this section of the contract shall be integrated with the existing control work to be one seamless package. The graphics for the BMS shall also be updated to include all of the new equipment as well as delete the equipment that was removed.

C. Paragraph 2.08 A.: Replace sub item 6 with below, and add sub items 7, 8 as follows:

6. Room Temperature Sensor with Integral Display

a. Room sensors shall be constructed for either surface or wall box mounting.
