GS-04P-09-EX-C-0078
Orlando, Florida
1 May 2009
The Presolicitation notice under Solicitation Number GS-04P-09-EX-C-0078 is hereby amended as follows:
1. CLARIFICATIONS:
Q: Would a cover letter, surety letter and general contractor’s license count toward the 10 page limit?
A: Contractors are required to submit the requested information found in the Stage I factors for viability and the corporate surety letter. If additional information is submitted in Stage I, i.e. General Contractor license, it will be counted towards the 10 one-sided 8-1/2”x 11” pages or 5 double-sided 8-1/2”x 11” pages limit for the Stage I submission. A cover page, table of contents page and section separators will not count towards the page limit.
Q: Where can I get the specifications and drawings for this project?
A: Drawing and specifications are not available under the Presolicitation notice. If a contractor is determined to be “VIABLE”, all drawings and specifications will be sent to the viable contractor with the Request For Proposal (RFP). Contractors that are deemed “NOT VIABLE” may request the Stage II RFP from the Contracting Officer, which will include the drawings and specifications.
Q: Will this project require a parking structure to be constructed?
A: All drawings, technical data and specifications will be made available in the Stage II RFP Q: Is this correct that Stage 1 is due prior to the pre-proposal conference? If so, can I assume that only selected contractors will be invited to the pre-proposal conference and allowed to submit proposals for Phase 2?
A: The Stage I proposal is due on May 11, which is before the Stage II pre-proposal conference. Contractors that are deemed “VIABLE” as a result of the Stage I proposal will automatically receive the Stage II RFP. If a contractor is deemed “NOT VIABLE” it may request the Stage II RFP from the Contracting Officer and participate in the procurement and pre-proposal conference on May 21.
Q: The original date of construction for this building is not provided in the presolicitation notice. Is this information available?
A: There has not been a construction date established. The anticipated award dates for the CMc design and construction phase services are noted in the presolicitation notice.
Q: I realize that the design contract has not been awarded, but has the GSA identified the design firm that will be used for this project?
A: The design contract has not been awarded, however the design firm has been selected under solicitation number GS-04P-06-EX-C-0162. It is anticipated the design contract will be awarded concurrently or before the award date of the CMc contract under this presolicitation notice.
