About this file

This document is a specification sheet for commercial-grade televisions required for Building 4061. The United States Marine Corps is conducting a pre-solicitation inquiry to identify potential vendors capable of supplying and installing an audio and video equipment package consisting of three 75-inch televisions and four 86-inch televisions. All units must meet identical salient characteristics including 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), 60 Hz refresh rate, minimum 500 nits brightness, 1,200:1 contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angles, 8 ms response time, integrated 20-watt speakers, and support for multiple video inputs (HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, DVI) and outputs. Additional technical requirements include Ethernet connectivity, serial control capability, infrared control input/output, image-retention mitigation functionality, network-based monitoring and remote management capabilities, and compliance with U.S. commercial electronic equipment safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards. Both television sizes must support 24/7 operation with MTBF of at least 50,000 hours, operate across 0-40°C temperature ranges, include three-year manufacturer warranties, and be compatible with standard M8 wall-mounting hardware using 600 mm x 400 mm mounting interfaces.

The 75-inch units have specifications of approximately 74.5-inch active diagonal, 66.3-inch maximum width, 37.9-inch maximum height, 2.75-inch maximum depth, and 80-pound maximum weight, with typical power consumption not exceeding 185 watts and maximum rated consumption of 345 watts. The 86-inch units measure approximately 85.6-inch diagonal, 76-inch maximum width, 43.4-inch maximum height, 2.75-inch maximum depth, and 111 pounds maximum weight, with typical power consumption not exceeding 355 watts and maximum rated consumption of 560 watts. Vendors must include their socioeconomic status as reflected in SAM.gov with their response. Installation of all devices is required and the distribution of this information is restricted to Department of the Navy community only.
