About this file

This document is an addendum for a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the city of Revere, related to the Revere Drive Groundwater Well Site project. The bid opening has been delayed until January 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM to allow time for the redaction of item 7 from the pricing sheet. The pricing sheet and a GoToMeeting link for the bid opening are provided. The project includes the installation of a well pump, treatment building, water main piping and valves, electrical and controls, chemical feed systems, a perimeter fenced enclosure, access drive, and other related work. The project has a total construction time of 180 consecutive calendar days from the notice to proceed.

The pricing sheet includes 10 line items that bidders must complete with unit prices and total prices. Two allowances are also included - one for $25,000 to cover unforeseen utility conflicts and relocation, and another for $25,000 for owner-initiated miscellaneous work. Bidders must submit their total bid amount, which will be the basis for contract award. The bid is valid for 60 calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids.
