Glenn Logistics and Metrology (GLAM)

Presolicitation Synopsis
NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Glenn Logistics and Metrology (GLAM) support services contract.
The purpose of the GLAM support services contract is to support the Agency-wide mission responsibilities of the Logistics Management Division (LMD) by providing logistics support, and Metrology to NASA GRC which comprises both Lewis Field (LF) and Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility (ATF).
The Contractor shall provide the expertise, capabilities, management, equipment, supplies, materials, dedicated labor, and personnel with tools, and personal protective items (not otherwise provided by the Government) to perform the logistics and metrology services required in accordance with (IAW) the following performance work statemen (PWS) elements:
• Management
• Disposal Operations
• Equipment Management
• Life Cycle Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• Mail Management
• Supply and Materials Management Operations
• Transportation Management
• Industrial Property Office
• Metrology and Calibration Services
• Non-Core/Center Services
These services shall be provided by the Contractor for both institutional and technical programs/projects, and includes lifecycle logistics, supply and material, transportation, equipment, mail, property disposal management, Metrology and Calibration Services. Please see the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement for more details.
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
This acquisition is a total small business set-aside.
The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541614 “Process, Physical Distribution, and Logistics Consulting Services” and $20M, respectively.
The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about July 10, 2023, with an anticipated offer due date of on or about August 15, 2023.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.

It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this website for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
