About this file

This is an Addendum Number 1 to a Request for Proposals issued by the Genesee Intermediate School District for GenNET Backup Equipment, dated July 17, 2019. The addendum addresses vendor questions that arose during a pre-bid meeting held on July 16, 2019. The bid submission deadline remains July 25, 2019 at 2:00 P.M., with all other terms and conditions of the original RFP remaining in effect.

The addendum clarifies several key procurement requirements and vendor qualifications. The District is open to alternative solutions and appliances provided vendors submit a qualifying initial bid. The warranty requirement is specified as 8x5 next business day service. Regarding enclosure specifications in Items 1.b and 2.b, the District will accept enclosures with fewer drive bays provided the total storage capacity and total number of drives specified in Items 1.c and 2.c are retained. Additionally, the District does not require vendors to include Veeam licensing as part of their proposal, as the necessary licensing is already in place.
