About this file
This document contains the General Conditions and Instructions for a state contract opportunity for SCI-Forest to provide food products. The contract outlines the requirements for submitting a signed original proposal by the stated due date and time. It specifies that payments will be made upon receipt of invoices after delivery and acceptance of the commodities. The quantities listed are estimates that may be increased or decreased as needed, and deliveries are restricted to Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays, during specific hours. The contract requires bidders to indicate the brand and manufacturer of the proposed products, and limits the number of manufacturers and brands that can be specified for any one item. Samples may be requested, and the contract provides specific instructions for pricing and units of measure that must be followed to avoid bid rejection. The document also references the Reciprocal Limitations Act 146 of 1986, which requires all vendors to submit an attached application with each bid.
The contract outlines detailed pricing terms, including the requirement for unit prices to be in even cents and not exceed two decimal places. The document does not provide information about any set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient details about the current environment or contract.
