About this file
This document is an Addendum issued by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council on behalf of the Greater Boston Police Council (GBPC), regarding a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Electric and Hydrogen Powered Public Service Vehicles, Light-Duty Trucks, Paratransit Vehicles, Passenger Shuttles, and Public Works Construction Equipment. The RFP seeks sale, lease, and rental options (if available) for these vehicles and equipment, with a proposal due date of July 22, 2020 at 1:00 pm. The RFP includes definitions and scope details for the various vehicle and equipment types, and provides examples in Appendix A. The contract term is for an initial period ending on August 31, 2021, with potential renewal options.
The RFP addendum revises the initial contract end date, the definitions for Paratransit Vehicles and Passenger Shuttles, and provides clarification on the overview and scope of the RFP. It also updates the Pricing Proposal Form to accommodate leasing and rental options, as well as modifications to the Vehicle and Equipment tabs. Pricing details, set-asides, and funding information are not provided in the addendum, but would be included in the original RFP document.
