FOR

SHOW SERVICES FISCAL YEAR 2025 CONFERENCES

1.0 GENERAL

1.1 BACKGROUND

CISA’s mission is to lead the national effort to protect and enhance the resilience of the nation’s physical and cyber infrastructure. CISA includes the CISA Management and Business Service Offices and the Cybersecurity Division (CSD), the Emergency Communications Division (ECD), the Integrated Operations Division (IOD), the Infrastructure Security Division (ISD), and the Stakeholder Engagement Division (SED), as well as the National Risk Management Center (NRMC), all of which are headquartered within the National Capital Region (NCR). Within CISA, the Office of External Affairs is responsible for coordinating conference attendance.

Conferences provide an ideal opportunity to reach the largest population of cybersecurity industry professionals, enabling senior DHS CISA officials to engage key influencers and decision makers in the public and private sectors. Through its participation, DHS CISA will continue to foster existing partnerships with Federal, State, local, tribal, and territorial governments, and international partners in attendance, to educate and build awareness for safe cyber communication practices, programs, and resources. These new and existing partnerships are vital to the DHS CISA mission, enabling the increased information sharing among trusted stakeholders with an interest in preventing, mitigating, and managing incidents that could impact the Nation’s critical infrastructure.
