FY21 Native Prairie Restoration Area: Garrison Bay U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Garrison Project

Area proposed: Garrison Bay Wildlife Area, (Northwest section of Garrison Bay)

Acres proposed: 65 acres (above 1854msl)

Existing Grassland Comp: Smooth brome, Kentucky bluegrass, numerous weed species (sprayed last year)

Access Points for Public: There are two walk in access points for the public on this piece of grassland, one is in the bottom SW corner where the gravel road turns South. The other is in the top NW corner on the section line.

Access Points for Contractor: At each walk in access point, there is a locked gate for the contractor to access the parcel.

Price per Acre: This includes them preparing the site from start to finish, planting, providing the seed, monitoring, as well as a follow up spot spraying application the second year after planting.
