Applicants must specify the grant component and organization, and describe their project with regards to these seven factors. The RFA will provide funding through two federal grant programs: State & Private Forestry Cooperative Fire Assistance and State & Private Forestry Hazardous Fuel Reduction Program, administered by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service. Successful applicants will receive funding to support wildfire risk reduction and cross-boundary mitigation projects in accordance with National Cohesive Strategy objectives.
