About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Veterans Home for an annual contract to provide ice cream and sherbet cups for fiscal year 2023. The requested products include vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream cups, as well as orange and raspberry sherbet cups, all in 4-ounce styrofoam containers. The estimated annual quantities range from 50 to 470 cases per item. Quotes must be submitted by the provided due date, with orders placed on a 2-week lead time for delivery. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The document outlines COVID-19 protections that vendors must adhere to, including face coverings, vaccinations, or testing requirements as directed by the state.

Pricing must include any shipping or freight costs, with the total quote amount due. This is a small purchase procurement, so electronic submissions via email or BidBuy are required - manual paper submissions will not be accepted. The quantities listed are estimates only, with the actual order amounts to be determined by the agency's needs and available funding throughout the fiscal year.
