About this file

This is an addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for invasive iguana removal services in the Florida Keys under Solicitation No. FWC 26/27-01. The addendum, issued July 31, 2026, provides clarifications to the original bid solicitation through a questions and answers format. Sealed bids must be received no later than 3:30 PM Eastern Time on Friday, August 7, 2026. According to the addendum clarifications, the FWC anticipates 252 working days annually (Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays) from September 1 through August 31, with contractors responsible for scheduling work at 13 specified sites across the Florida Keys with a minimum of two visits per site monthly. The initial contract term runs for one calendar year from Purchase Order issuance, with FWC holding an option to renew for up to one additional year under identical terms.

Bidding contractors must submit pricing on a per-removal-day basis for one survey team, with the total bid price representing the sum of both the initial and renewal year rates. Bidders are prohibited from using subcontractor experience and references to satisfy minimum qualifications; however, subcontracting is permitted with appropriate documentation submitted with invoices. The FWC will provide Excel spreadsheet templates for data collection and monthly reporting, while contractors are responsible for scheduling work and notifying respective site managers according to established service standards. All quoted prices must include equipment, supplies, permits, transportation, and carcass disposal, with no additional fees permitted for taxes, fuel surcharges, or delivery. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with liquidated damages assessed at $0.00 per day of delay and payment denied for missed monthly deliverables.
