Summary: Addendum No. 1 to FWC Solicitation 25/26-30C

This document is Addendum No. 1 issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 25/26-30C, titled "Bird Island Restoration." The addendum provides clarifications and answers to bidder questions regarding project specifications and logistics. All responses to the solicitation must be received no later than 3:00 PM (ET) on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. The addendum addresses material specifications for the restoration project and access considerations for construction activities.

The addendum clarifies two key items: (1) Reef Arches are not permitted as an alternative to the required six limestone boulders specified in the project requirements; and (2) the boat ramp at Claude Edge Front Street Park is expected to be available for construction use but is not controlled by the FWC, requiring the awarded contractor to coordinate access directly with the City of Melbourne. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their proposals and comply with all specifications as clarified herein.

ANSWER #1

No. Reef Arches will not be allowed as an alternative for this project
