About this file
This Addendum No. 1 to Solicitation FWC 25/26-28 issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) on December 23, 2025, provides an updated price sheet and clarifications addressing bidder questions for the Herbicides and Adjuvants for Invasive Plant Control procurement. The solicitation encompasses three parts: Part 1 containing 58 brand-name herbicide products in various container sizes (ranging from 1 pound to 270 gallons), Part 2 with 11 generic herbicide formulations in container sizes from 1 quart to 250 gallons, and Part 3 specifying 14 adjuvant products in sizes from 1 gallon to 30 gallons. Bidders must submit sealed responses no later than 3:30 PM ET on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, with the bid opening scheduled for the same time. Written questions were required to be submitted by December 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM ET. The contract term is one year from Purchase Order issuance with a potential one-year renewal option. Bidders must submit pricing for both the initial year and renewal year on a per-unit basis.
The addendum specifies that this is a multi-award bid structure in which the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each individual line item will receive the award for that product. Quoted prices must exclude all Federal and State sales or use taxes and include all necessary items to complete the project. All line items must be bid or the entire bid will be rejected. Significant clarifications were provided regarding container sizes and product specifications, including corrections that Escort XP should be 16 ounces (not 16 pounds), Method 240SL and Hydrothol 191 duplications were removed, Opensight containers are 1.25 pounds (20 ounces) and 10 pounds, and Copper Chelate was specified as Copper Ethylenediamine 22.9% (8% metallic copper equivalent). The addendum also addresses vendor storage requirements, stipulating that vendors must provide a three-month transition period for product movement to FWC storage facilities at the end of the contract period.
