About this file

This is an Addendum #1 issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 24/25-65 "Professional Services for Boating and Waterways." The solicitation seeks qualified professional services firms to perform planning and design, plan review, surveying and GIS mapping, geotechnical engineering, environmental/biological services, civil engineering, and project and database management throughout Florida. All responses must be received by 2:30 PM (ET) on March 4, 2025. The services must be provided by one firm, either in-house or through subconsultants, in accordance with Section 287.055, Florida Statutes.

The addendum addresses five questions from potential bidders, clarifying that the 9/21 version of DMS Form AE12a should be used, confirming that evaluation team members' names cannot be disclosed during active solicitation, and indicating that no edits will be made to the AE12b evaluation form. It also confirms that architectural services may be needed during the contract term, though no specific projects are currently planned. Potential future projects could include design/review of boat ramps and associated facilities, development of boating restricted area marker plans, and shoreline stabilization projects.
