About this file
This document is an addendum issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) related to Solicitation No. FWC 23/24-41 for the "Florida Bass Conservation Center Calcium Scaling" project. The addendum provides questions and answers from prospective respondents regarding the solicitation. Key details include that this is not a construction project under Chapter 255, Florida Statutes, so prequalification is not required. The solicitation seeks solutions to mitigate and abate an ongoing calcium scaling issue at the Florida Bass Conservation Center in Sumter County. All responses to the solicitation must be received by 2:00 PM (ET) on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. The addendum also provides current and historical water chemistry data for the filtered and recycled water systems at the facility.
Regarding pricing and other salient information, the document does not provide specifics on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or contract amounts. However, it notes that a vendor submitting a bid should be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with Sunbiz prior to the bid opening.
