About this file

This document is an addendum to a solicitation from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the Southwest Regional Office Window Replacement project. The addendum responds to questions received from prospective bidders regarding the project specifications, including measurements, schedules, and other logistics. The base bid is for the north section of the building, with additional work to be completed in order of the alternates. The Contractor will not move to the next section until the previous section has been fully completed and approved by the FWC Project Manager. The project is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, and the Contractor will need to have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and other financial information registered with sam.gov prior to the Purchase Order issuance. The work hours are standard 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with any variations to be discussed with the awarded Bidder. FWC will remove blinds and provide interior access to the windows as necessary.

Partial payments will be allowed, including a mobilization payment before work commences and a material pay request for the windows once they are delivered and secured on site. The bid due date has been extended, with Addendum #3 posted on 8/28/2023 and Addendum #2 posted on 8/15/2023. The project is not subject to Davis-Bacon wage requirements or "Buy American" provisions.
