About this file
This document is an addendum issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for their solicitation FWC 20/21-82 "Mechanical Removal of Aquatic Plants and Associated Organic Sediments." The addendum revises the purpose of the RFP to focus on the removal of non-mobile aquatic vegetation and associated organic sediments, and adds a definition of "non-mobile" to the scope of work. It also revises the overview section to clarify that the intent is to award contracts to qualified and competitive contractors for mechanical removal services within Florida, though there is no guarantee of any minimum quantity of work. The addendum further revises the general specifications to reflect the focus on non-mobile vegetation and sediment removal.
The broader contract opportunity is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide these mechanical removal services across the state of Florida, specifically in Leon County and the city of Tampa. Responses are due by 2:00 PM ET on June 21, 2022, and multiple awards are anticipated under this RFP. The contract does not guarantee any minimum quantity of work, and services will be provided on a purchase order basis.
